The survey was conducted by PORU (fielded on 6-8 Apr, 2017) and it was presented in the Greek newspaper Kathimerini.

How do Greeks evaluate the government’s negotiating procedures? As we have seen from the previous surveys, 52% of them share a negative view for the government’s performance with regard to the negotiations with Europe.

Why are the negotiating procedures moving so slow? With regard to this question, seven-in-ten answer that the current PM Alexis Tsipras is running behind the procedures because he is afraid of the political cost. On the other hand, only an 18% believes that he is following the right direction since this tactic is defending the pride and the dignity of the Greek population.
